TROUBLESHOOTING 1. LEAKS


 

 

1. Barrel is leaking from the front center of the fill port

The fill port needs to be uninstalled from the barrel, cleaned by blowing compressed air through it in both directions, and reinstalled. This is a 2 minute repair that requires a fill tip tool, available here.


 

2. Barrel is leaking from the front around the fill tip

An o-ring needs to be replaced. This is a simple 2 minute repair: see page 18 of the User Manual
and click here to purchase the replacement items.



3. Barrel is leaking from the rear

The Green or Red Gasket inside needs to be replaced. This is a relatively complex repair: click here to see video

4. Any Fill Device is leaking from the fill nose 

The Black gasket needs to be replaced. This is a simple 2 minute repair: See video by clicking here, or see
pages 11-12 in the User Manual.


 

 


 

5. Sodamaker Fill Device leak from the vent hole

Ensure that the body of the Fill Device is fully tightened down against the tank’s brass fitting.

If this doesn’t resolve the leak, the Black Sodamaker Gasket inside the Sodamaker Fill Device
needs to be replaced. This is a simple 2 minute repair. See page 18 of the User Manual,

6. Paintball Fill Device leak from the vent hole

The O-ring on the brass fitting of the paintball bottle needs to be replaced. This is a simple 1 minute repair:

7. Paintball Fill Device leak from around the activation knob 

If your Sodamaker Fill Device or your Paintball Fill Device 1 is leaking from around the spindle under the activation knob, the inner O-ring has developed a leak. This O-ring is not easily serviced, so please contact your Dealer for a replacement Fill Device.
