CO₂ OPTIONS FOR COOLFIRE

To power your CoolFire Trainer system correctly and safely, you must use CO₂ gas only—never substitute with air, nitrogen, or other gas types.

Using anything other than CO₂ can result in:

  • Damage to your CoolFire Trainer
  • Risk of personal injury
  • Complete system failure

Compatible CO₂ Options

As of now, CoolFire supports four types of CO₂ refill sources depending on your location and preference:

🥽 1. Paintball Tank (Recommended for High Volume Use)

  • Tank Size: Typically 20oz paintball-style CO₂ bottles
  • Fill: Must be filled locally (sporting goods stores, paintball shops)
  • Shots Per Fill: ~2,000–2,500 shots
  • Full Weight (with fill device): ~1,540 grams
  • Notes: Ships empty due to shipping regulations

🔧 These are ideal for users who train frequently and want long sessions between refills.

🫧 2. Soda Maker Tanks

  • Brands Supported:

  • SodaStream (Blue only – not Quick Connect)
  • Soda Sense (Green)
  • DrinkMate (Blue or Gray)
  • Tanks Must Be: Threaded (⚠️ Quick connect tanks will not work)
  • Shots Per Fill: ~1,200–1,400 shots
  • Full Weight (14oz tank with adapter): ~1,300 grams
  • Fill Status: Tanks are shipped pre-filled

✅ Excellent for casual to moderate training—easy to find and refill locally.

🏭 3. CGA 320 (Large Industrial Tanks)

  • Tank Size: 5lb, 10lb, or 20lb
  • Fill Locations:
    • Welding gas supply stores
    • Homebrew and winemaking shops
    • Industrial gas suppliers
  • Important: Tank must have a siphon/dip tube (usually color-coded—see image)
  • Shots Per Fill: Varies based on tank size
  • Adapter Required: Yes, CGA320-to-CoolFire adapter

🧪 Best for instructors, agencies, or shooters running thousands of reps per week.

🇦🇺 4. Australian Soda Maker (Australia Only)

  • Compatibility: Australian-specific bottles only (not sold outside the country)
  • Shots Per Fill: ~1,200–1,400
  • Fill Status: Usually shipped full (based on local vendors)
