What an excellent product. While not an exact replication of the 9mm recoil impulse it is very good and maybe the best tool ever created for practicing shooting while moving for sports like USPSA or 3Gun or even I suppose a real life situation. You can practice without driving to the ranch

This has provided us with the most “live fire” approach to dry fire training we’ve had yet. The ability to use our own guns reduces inconsistencies with mechanics as well as reduce the amount of “stuff” we need for training.

I am 63. Got my first airgun at 12. I did 12 years USN Aviation, working on all kinds of pneumatic platforms. Moved into robotics and maintained my fascination for anything driven by air. The quality of all pneumatic interface in Coolfire systems are top shelf. Fit perfection. I found it impressive that there was no hiss or frozen stuff during refills. Just a very positive pushback and pressure release that says... topped off boss.
More fun than I expected. A fan of dry fire and mental visualization, I have the original SIRT AR laser (which was finecky 3rd world quality), the mantis (which I love), but AR Sidekick is beyond that.
My wife approved of this purchase :-)... I built moving targets that go down if hit with laser for the mantis. Works great with sidekick... especially with rapudfire. That simple nudge on your shoulder and mild audio report does wonders.
I wish I had something like this when I was doing highpower rifle. Shooting is a MIND GAME... this platform elevates that game.
I use these with free software and it really is very nice practice.
So far so good! A little tight to fit at first, but after a while, everything is going great. Easy to refill and fun as heck to be able to clear my house with the real feel of the action
