I love that you do not have to rack the slide each time you want to fire. The laser is also adjustable to your pistols actual point of impact at any distance. Combined, these two features make Cool Fire the closest to actual range training.

I think the product is great. High quality, just a bit higher priced than I think it should be.

After using the pistol version of the Coolfire Trainer, I had high expectations for the Sidekick, so I got one and am very happy with it. Coolfire customer support told me that the "Custom" version should work with both Mil Spec and modern ARs, so I got that version. At this point, all I can say is that is works perfectly on my classic Colt AR. I have a Wolfpack Armory AR arriving in a few weeks, and I look forward to trying it out on that when it gets here.

I did not see any way to "zero" the laser on the Sidekick. My shots were hitting just a little bit to the left. After pondering the situation for a bit, I came up with a solution by 3D printing a set of very thin precision spacers. You can check it out on Makerworld by searching for "coolfire".
